Best for hand forming, this clay has high plasticity, with enough fine Grog (0.5mm) at 50 mesh for slabwork etc. With a broard earthenware, mid and stoneware temperature range, this clay fires buff to brown deepening on increase of temperature. Recommended firing in an electric kiln as a bisque 1050℃. and glaze temperature range 1100-1280℃. This clay is manufactured in our Sydney warehouse using Australian clay and imported raw materials.Shrinkage rate Bisque 8%. Earthenware 8 %. Midfire 10%.
