Suitable for wheel throwing. This clay has enough strength and body for larger pieces as it is 80 mesh with a slightly coarser speckle. The clay has a modern interest in the surface with the addition of a speckle and f ires light brown to warm mid brown as temperature increases. Recommended bisque 1050℃ and 1260℃ for glaze temperature. Needs high firing stoneware temperature for vitrification. This clay is manufactured in our Sydney warehouse using Australian clay and imported raw materials. Shrinkage rate Bisque 5%. Earthenware 7 %. Midfire 10%. Stoneware 12%.
