Blackwattle Black Earthenware Casting Slip

This charcoal black casting slip is used for pouring into plaster molds. Fire to earthenware or mid fire temperatures. This slip has a black stain added to give the black stability. This black slip is food safe when glazed and we suggest that an earthenware or mid fire glaze is applied over the clay body. A clear glaze will develop depth in the colour. A black gloss or satin glaze will make the black very intense.
