The best way to decide which clay you will like to use on a larger scale is to work with small quantities before you go bigger. Also, there are times when you only need a small amount of clay! Natural speckle, Buff speckle and Fine white stoneware clays have been selected for this temperature range. Approximately 1 kg of each of these clays makes an ideal range of colours and textures for you to experiment with.
