This paper clay fires to a warm brown colour. The addition of cellulose fibre make this clay stronger and more forgiving than normal clay. As it is a very strong clay for handforming, it is best for slab building. This clay is extremely strong in the unfired state making it suitable for air drying as well as firing. For firing, this clay should be fired in an electric kiln with the Bisque temperature 1050℃. and glaze temperature 1000-1150℃.Extremely good clay for schools. Fires a soft terracotta colour depending on temperature. Fine Grog (0.5 mm) for slabwork. Shrinkage rate Bisque 10%. Earthenware 11%. Midfire 13%. Stoneware 14%.
