A white clay with the addition of fine sand. This clay is suitbale for hand forming and wheel work. The sand in this clay creates a fine surface texture adding interest to the surface. Texture is 50 mesh. The clay can be fired to stoneware temperatures. It is also suitable to fire to a lower temperature. Recommended bisque temperature 1050℃. and glaze temperature 1050-1280℃. Shrinkage rate Bisque 7%. Earthenware 8 %. Midfire 10%. Stoneware 11%.
