These are a high quality throwing batt made from compressed hardwood and used for wheel forming, handforming or sculpting. Lightweight and extremely strong and flat 9mm thick. Three sizes are available 19cm, 33cm and 40cm. The smaller size is 19 cm. Often used together with a bat mate, a mug or small bowl can be easily removed from the wheelhead when made on a 19 cm batt.
