These are a high quality throwing batt made from compressed hardwood and used for wheel forming, handforming or sculpting. Lightweight and extremely strong and flat 9mm thick. Three sizes are available 19cm, 33cm and 40cm. The batt size 40 cm is used together with a bat mate, and a large platter or very large bowl can be easily removed from the wheelhead when made on a 40cm batt.
