Black pencil fires to 1280℃. The pencil is the best way to apply colour as a hand-drawn design to your work. You can also use the pencil for or for marking your ware. It is best to dip or pour glaze over the pencil line or you can dab the first layer of glaze if using a brush on glaze as the pencil line can blur if glaze is dragged over it.
