Extremely plastic super white firing clay perfect for coloured glaze application. The high plasticity of this clay makes this clay suitable for throwing and handforming. Bisque temperature Cone 05, 1050℃. and glaze temperature 1080-1220℃.Shrinkage rate Bisque 7%. Earthenware 7 %. Midfire 8%.
Suitable for handbuilding or throwing. Excellent working characteristics, easy to dry and fire. Fires orange to brown depending on firing temperature. Soft orange at 1000℃. Darker red/ brown at 1100℃. Bisque Cone 06, 1000℃. Glaze Cone 06-01, (1000-1150℃.). Clay contains fine sand for added strength and workability. Shrinkage rate Bisque 7%. Earthenware 8 %. Midfire 10%.
