BULK ORDER of 10 or 25 bags of clay at 10kg per bag. All round mid fire clay with body strength, plasticity and capacity to join and turn. Fires buff/warm brown depending on temperature and kiln type. Fire to mid fire temperatures. Shrinkage rate Bisque 9%. Earthenware 9 %. Midfire 11%. Stoneware 13%.
Snowhite, Red Ochre and Buff mid fire have been selected for this temperature range. Approximately 1 kg of each of these clays makes an ideal range of colours and textures for you to experiment with.
Red Ochre is a rich natural red/brown firing clay in Oxidation. Not recommended for reduction. Strong dark coloured glaze response 1240℃. Suitable as a mid fire clay.
